What Thomas talks about
Four starting points. Every session is shaped to the room.
Science & engineering
Science communication and technical talks that makes people lean in: fun, visual sessions on how things actually work, from electronics and 3D printing to the engineering hiding in everyday life. Live builds when the room suits it.
Skills, policy and the STEM gap
Technical education, the UK skills shortage and social value: what the data says and what actually works on the ground.
Entrepreneurship
Building a company from a university project without investors: product, sales, awards and the graft in between. Enterprise, business and motivation for any audience.
Learning by building
Why hands-on beats theory, and how to bring it into your school, museum or programme.
Consultancy & outreach
Behind the talks sits everything 2,000+ learners have taught us, and organisations borrow it in different ways:
- Programme consultancy: STEM programmes, workshop formats and kits, designed for organisations building their own education offer.
- STEM outreach days: hands-on activity days that bring your outreach commitments to life.
- Marketing & event days: builds and demos that pull a crowd at your open day, careers fair or campaign.
