Workshops and Programmes
Hands-on STEM learning for KS2 to KS5 - from ready-to-go sessions to customised programmes for your school or organisation.
At HYEN, we design workshops that bring electronics, coding and engineering to life.
Below are some of our most popular sessions - but every school, library and youth group is different. We can customise workshops to fit your learners, your timetable, and your goals.

Learn Electricity and Circuits
Magnetronics
Explore electronics with the world’s first novel electronics learning kit. Learners snap together circuits to create everything from simple lights to more complex systems.
Skills Learnt:
- Understanding electronic components
- Building working circuits
- Problem-solving and design

Learn Coding and Computing
Micro:bit: Design It, Code It & Build It
From zero to gadget in one session. Pupils code the Micro:bit and wire it into circuits to invent their first interactive creations.
Skills Learnt:
- Basic coding (inputs & outputs)
- Linking code to real-world hardware
- Creative problem-solving

Learn electronics blended with arts
Paper Circuits
A STEAM favourite that blends creativity with technology. Learners design, decorate, and build their own working circuits on paper using copper tape and LEDs - combining arts, crafts, and hands-on electronics.
Skills Learnt:
- Basic circuit building
- Design and creativity (arts & crafts)
- Visualising electricity flow
